The SEFIN, by agreement of its General Assembly of members held in Estoril (Portugal) on 2 June 2008, will periodically announce the Antonio José Palomares Award aimed at young researchers who are members of the SEFIN and who have made relevant contributions in the field of beneficial plant-microorganism interaction. May this award serve as a tribute to our colleague Antonio José Palomares (1950–2007).
