The jury for the 7th Antonio Palomares Award has decided to award this distinction to Dr. Carmen Sánchez-Cañizares (Department of Biology, University of Oxford, United Kingdom) for her significant scientific contributions, international experience, and her work in interweaving science with society.
Having considered the merits presented by the candidates for the 6th Antonio J. Palomares Award 2022, the Society’s Board of Directors, meeting on July 5, 2022, has decided to award the Prize to Dr. Marta Robledo Garrido (Department of Microbiology, University of Cantabria-CSIC).
